Ceramography and Phase Analysis

Group

The targeted development and Optimization of materials requires reproducible characterization of structure and phase existence. The work group has an extensive know-how about low impairment preparation of materials and its high resolution microstructure analysis. Together with other groups and clients, this know how is constantly extended. The array of functions and materials reaches from characterizations of nanostructures to conventional ceramics, from extremely soft materials over multifunctional layer-systems to superhard materials based on diamonds and borides.
