CeraCode® – Component tracing in metal processing
The individual labeling (direct part marking) of heat-treated components in metal processing poses several challenges. In order to meet material- and process-related conditions (high temperatures, surface coatings), Fraunhofer IKTS developed the CeraCode® labeling based on robust ceramic phosphors. This solution enables the tracking and tracing of components throughout the entire heat treatment process chain.
